Ben is the Managing Director of Cleaner Climate.
He founded the Australian operations in early 2007 and led the incorporation of Cleaner Climate’s carbon project advisory business into South East Asia in early 2008.
Ben pioneered the Green Dollar program for the Cleaner Climate retail platform with almost 800,000 global customers to date taking part in the initiative. Ben also provides investment advisory services to clean energy projects with investment recommendations to date exceeding $250M.
His key interest is working as an active promoter of utalising clean energy finance as a way of harvesting internal social change within the low-income agriculture sectors of South East Asia.
Engagements include: Advanced Agro Public Co, Singha Beer Company, Wangkanai Sugar Group, Union Minister for Environmental Conservation and Forestry of Myanmar (Burma) and the Ministry of Finance, Thailand.
Kerry founded Cleaner Climate South Africa in 2007, and is responsible for Cleaner Climate’s corporate consulting practices.
Her commitment has seen Cleaner Climate South Africa grow into one of the country's leading carbon solution firms and climate change consultancies, with a portfolio of large corporate clients.
In 2009, Kerry’s work with Billabong and SA Rugby saw both organisations attain parliamentary commendation for their efforts in hosting the first green rugby and surfing events in the country.
Her extensive work within the local travel industry has seen Cleaner Climate become the preferred carbon partner of the majority of South Africa’s leading travel providers.
Kerry has also worked for the Scottish Government in conducting a marine energy resource assessment in the Maldives in conjunction with the Maldivian Ministry of Energy & the Robert Gordon University.
Kerry is South African born and educated, having a BSc and an MPhil degree, both from the University of Cape Town.
