Cleaner Climate conducted a full investment feasibility study for a 3MWe rice husk gasification plant at Golden Rice Cambodia’s mill.

The proposed $5M BOOT project would cut diesel reliance, lower energy costs by 40%, and generate over 210,000 Gold Standard CERs.

With a strong local partner, scalable throughput, and projected IRRs of up to 23%, the project presents a commercially viable model for renewable energy and carbon revenue in Cambodia’s rice sector.
