GS Wind Power in Vietnam

The Binh Thanh 30 MW Wind Project was Vietnam’s first operational wind farm and the country’s first to issue Gold Standard Certified Emission Reductions (CERs).

Developed through a partnership between Cleaner Climate, EDFT, and Vietnam Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company (REVN), the project successfully generated and sold over 25,000 Gold Standard CERs to European buyers, achieving a significant premium over standard OTC CER market rates.
